Our sources say the matter was later reported to The Juapong Police for action. Upon police investigations, the search team "…found Fafali Yevu dead in a forest with gunshot wounds on his leg and cutlass wounds on his neck, hand and waist". His body was found near a farm owned by one of the two suspects by name Samuel Rasta Tugbenyo. According to him, the nearly decomposed body found on Monday 19 June has been sent to the Peki Government Hospital for autopsy and report.
