The president hailed late President Mohamed Naguib as a symbol of the revolution who bravely answered the call of national duty in a defining moment. Sisi said the current challenge is to change all aspects of the reality of life in Egypt through serious work to achieve comprehensive development based on careful planning and within the framework of a complete national vision and strategy. Sisi also on Twitter hailed the revolution as a “glorious” event that wrote, with its great principles, a bright page in the history of the Egyptian struggle. “Long live Egypt, free and proud and an oasis of good, development and peace, always and forever,” Sisi added.
