ReutersCAIRO – 23 July 2021: Egypt's Fuel Automatic Pricing Committee decided to raise gasoline prices by 25 piasters per liter and to keep the prices of diesel and mazut unchanged until the end of September. According to the new hike, the new prices per liter will be LE 6.75 for 80 octane gasoline, LE 8 for 92 octane gasoline, and LE 9 for 95 octane gasoline. The price of diesel will remain standing at LE 6.75 per liter and mazut for the industrial sector will stand at LE 3900 per ton. Egypt has raised the prices of fuel many times over the past few years, the last of which was in April, when the committee raised the price of gasoline by 25 piasters.
