The teacher allegedly beat up the boys to cover up the abuse, according to their parentsAn associate teacher at Kutirchor Government High School in Kamarkhand upazila, Sirajganj has been accused of sexually harassing two students. The students’ guardians further allegedly that the teacher frequently beat up the boys to cover up the abuse. The guardians have demanded that school authority promptly terminate the accused, and ensure exemplary punishment against him. Locals claimed the accused teacher is a cousin of the school’s management committee’s president. Speaking to the Dhaka Tribune, Kamarkhand police station OC Habibul Islam said the parents of the two students had not filed any case regarding the allegation yet.
