Former All Blacks coach Sir Steve Hansen says it’s “stupid” that New Zealand Rugby (NZR) hasn't re-signed Ian Foster through to the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Foster replaced Hansen as coach after the All Blacks' semifinal exit at the 2019 World Cup and is only contracted until the end of this year. Hansen led the All Blacks for eight years, winning the 2015 World Cup, with Foster his assistant during a hugely successful tenure.
