Liakat has been brought to the Cox's Bazar senior judicial magistrate's court for recording of the statement around 12pm on Sunday, a day after during the 3-day remand, confirmed sources from the Rapid Action Battalion, the agency in-charge of investigating Sinha murder case. Earlier on Friday, the same court granted remand for the suspended OC Pradeep Kumar Das, Liakat and suspended ASI Nanda Dulal Raxit, for the third time to interrogate them. The accused APBn members were on-duty at the check-post when Sinha was murdered. The court recorded their confessional statements separately on Wednesday and Thursday, and afterwards sent them to jail.
