The body was recovered from the septic tank of resident Anwar Hossain's house in the area on Sunday morning. He said that a stench emanating from the septic tank prompted locals to inform the family members of expatriate Anwar Hossain about it. Upon receiving the news, the police recovered the sack and found the decapitated body of the woman inside it. It is believed that miscreants strangled the woman to death about a week ago, proceeding to pack her and dump her in the septic tank in the dark of night. The body has been sent to the morgue of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital in Gazipur for autopsy.
