A team led by the committee head Mizanur Rahman began interrogating Pradeep at the Cox’s Bazar District Jail Gate around 11am Wednesday, confirmed Jail Superintendent Md Mokammel Hossain. The investigation committee had to delay its investigation and postpone its probe report submission as Rapid Action Battalion, leading the investigation, had kept Pradeep in custody for the last 15 days. Earlier on Tuesday, Pradeep went to jail following his fourth time in remand. Case Investigation Officer ASP Khairul Islam of RAB 15 said: "We have successfully extracted important information from suspended OC Pradeep in four interrogation sessions spanning a total of 15 days. Suspended OC Pradeep Kumar Das is the second accused in the murder case and he is yet to record a confessional statement with the court, the IO added.
