Blessings over flowed once more on the seventh episode and season-ender episode of “Grateful Tuesdays” exactly a week ago when special guest Ilocos Sur Mayor Chavit Singson gave out P200,000 to four lucky and outstanding citizens. The honorees were able to thank Singson for his generosity as well as seek his advice on how to survive their predicament. A truly emotional episode, the famed and sometimes controversial politician was deeply touched by their sharing that he added a P50,000-incentive for each of them to keep on the right track. He then announced another intention to grant five full college scholarships to poor but deserving students and tasked Grateful Tuesdays to find them. “We salute the Model Father — not only to Ilocos Sur — but to so many across the country as well,” Tobias ended.
