Single-screen film exhibitors, depending on plastics for packaging and wrapping food and beverages, are feeling the pinch from the plastic ban in the State. For most of them, the issue is about replacing plastic-coated paper cups used for hot beverages. “We switched to paper cups in December itself. For us, the major thing would be replacing plastic-coated cups with paper cups. Using paper cups will increase the packaging cost,” Kailash B. Gupta, CFO, Inox Leisure Ltd said.
