Singer to turn on Xmas lightsThe Christmas lights will be switched on in Mount Temple by popular singer Brendan Shine next week. A crib will be lit up with Christmas lights at Tom and Johnny Conlon's house at Nahad, Mount Temple, just off the M6 on Sunday, December 11 at 7pm. There will be people collecting donations on the night which will go the local Mount Temple Lourdes committee, who send people from all over the parish and neighbouring districts to the French pilgrimage site every year. The event will also feature some fantastic entertainment from local musicians and performers.
