Rachi: The Sindh government has decided to take strict action on corruption complaints received against various major departments across the province. In this regard, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Anti-Corruption Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mehar in which a detailed briefing was given on the annual performance report of the Anti-Corruption Department and corruption complaints received against various departments, while important decisions were taken approving strict and immediate action on the complaints. DG Anti-Corruption Imtiaz Ali Abro said that a total of 13,603 corruption complaints were received against 22 different departments across Sindh. The spokesperson said that with regard to anti-corruption court and field activities, it was reported that 45 new cases were received across Sindh, 812 cases were sent to courts, 2 people were sentenced, 2 trap operations and 22 surprise visits were conducted. Addressing the meeting, Minister for Anti-Corruption Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mehar directed that immediate and indiscriminate action be taken on corruption complaints received against officers of various departments.
