The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has asked Pakistani citizens to avoid unnecessary travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran until the situation improves for their safety and security. According to the travel advisory issued by the Foreign Office, Pakistani citizens residing in Iran have been asked to exercise extreme caution and remain vigilant. On the other hand, in the latest situation in Iran, the Pakistani embassy has established a crisis management unit to facilitate citizens. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Tehran Mudassar Tipu says that Pakistani citizens can be contacted 24 hours a day for assistance. He said that the phone numbers and landline numbers of three officials have also been provided in this regard.
