Sindh CM asks govt to stop treating the province like a stepchild


KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government must stop treating Sindh like a stepchild, said Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, further asking Prime Minister Imran Khan to play his role in handling all provinces equally. Shah said the above on Sunday to local journalists while visiting Kandhkot, adding that no one would be allowed to divide Sindh. Replying to question about Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed’s recent statements, he refused to comment on someone “who always beats around the bush”. This statement in question where regarding Rasheed’s claims that opposition party leaders had met with the army chiefs privately. Regarding the schools, Shah said it was mandatory for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be followed, and that schools would reopen from 28 September.
