ISLAMABAD: Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said Sunday that the Sindh government was fully cooperating with its federal counterpart to restore the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) in the light of the Supreme Court’s directives in this regard. Speaking to media, the minister said that there was no tussle with the Sindh government on the project and that the KCR map will be shared Monday. Maintaining that the Sindh government and Centre were on the same page regarding on the project, Ahmed said his ministry will fully implement the orders of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court on Thursday directed Pakistan Railways to retrieve its land along the KCR and demolish encroachments on the track. Ahmed further said that he would come to Karachi every 15 days to inspect the progress on the project.
