Emergency services responded to a house fire in Burwood on Saturday evening, which has left it significantly damaged. A Christchurch house has been significantly damaged in a fire on Saturday evening. Emergency services responded to the fire on Rowe Place, Burwood at 7.08pm. The house was “fully involved” in flames when crews arrived, a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said. Crews were at the scene till about 10pm, dampening down any hotspots.
