Signed All Blacks & Tottenham shirts, Lee Chong Wei memorabilia up for auction at OCM-Tan Sri Alex Lee Charity Golf event


SHAH ALAM: The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) - Tan Sri Alex Lee Education Fund is hoping to raise more than RM100,000 through the OCM-Tan Sri Alex Lee Charity Golf event this year with a number of highly sought after sports memorabilia set to be auctioned. A national contingent shirt signed by all Malaysian Rio Olympic medallists as well as a racquet and shirt used by shuttler Lee Chong Wei in Brazil will also be on offer. The auction will be held on the day of the golf event. "Last year, we collected RM160,000 through the golf event and auction with a large amount being raised through the sale of a rugby shirt signed by the All Black's World Cup winning squad. The fund and golf event is named in honour former OCM vice president and Commonwealth Games Federation vice chairman Tan Sri Alex Lee, who played a substantial role in the development of Malaysian sports.
