Sicilian Avenue is a beautiful pedestrianised arcade tucked away in Holborn which has just undergone a major restoration into a shopping and eating destination. Hackney roastery Flying Horse Coffee, which has cafes in Shoreditch, White City and Notting Hill, became the first to open there on Monday (December 1). Philip Way, owner and founder of Flying Horse Coffee, said: “It’s our most beautiful setting yet to open in. Douglas Anderson, Co-founder of BACKWORKS, added: ‘Sicilian Avenue captures the experience we want for our clients. For this opening, I’ve created a new baked treat exclusively for guests at Sicilian Avenue — our Matcha Florentine.
