Siaya IEBC officials met election stakeholders on Friday to address circumstances that prevented the repeat presidential election on Thursday. Chairman Wafula Chebukati announced last evening that following chaos by NASA supporters, elections will be repeated on Saturday in Siaya, Migori, Homa Bay and Kisumu. The meeting took place at the county's IEBC due to anxiety and returning officer Ruth Khulundu siad participants included the security team. Central ward MCA Leonard Oriaro insisted elections will not take place in Siaya as voters have decided to stay away.
