The headmaster of Piyar Sattar Latif High School in Narayanganj will face charges after a court asked authorities concerned to frame them against Shyamal Kanti Bhakta. On Wednesday, Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Akhtaruzzaman passed the order to frame the charges against Shyamal Kanti after denying him bail. The court has set December 12 to hear the witness depositions after the charges have been framed. The high school head teacher was accused of taking bribe from a female teacher in exchange for including her in the monthly pay order. Shyamal Kanti’s lawyer Sakhawat Hossain Khan said he will appeal to the High Court against the order.
