Frank Chan sprays a disinfectant coating on a taxi interior. Taxi operators are planning to distribute disinfectant spray coating to drivers of more than 18,000 taxis. They launched an initiative today with the presence of the Secretary for Transport and Housing, Frank Chan, who sprayed disinfectant inside a cab, while wearning gloves and a face mask. The cabbies were demonstrating the use of a sanitizing coating by Raze. The industry says turnover of cabbie has fallen by up to 80 percent as a result of the deadly coronavirus that spread to Hong Kong having emerged in December from China's Wuhan.
