KUALA LUMPUR: Popular songstress Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin plans to organise a make-up workshop together with her cosmetics brand SimplySiti. Recently, Siti was given an opportunity to show off her makeup skills on Farah Nawal, the daughter of renowned orthopaedic Datuk Seri Dr Zulkharnain Ismail, on her engagement day. So when her parents requested that I did the makeup for her special day, I couldn’t say no. “While I can manage a simple makeup, I have suggested to her that she hires a more experienced and professional makeup artiste to do the job for her wedding day,” said Siti, adding that while she enjoyed playing with makeup, she was just not skilful enough to become a professional makeup artist. 1 singer said: “To become a professional makeup artist is a definite no but as someone who runs a cosmetics business, I need to be knowledgeable and learn about the right makeup techniques from professional makeup artists,” she added.
