"There's going to be numerous rocks and minerals on display, representing all the colours of the rainbow. There's also going to be some of the most unusual minerals and fossils to view," Moxon said. There will be traders selling goods and rock and mineral enthusiasts, known as "rockhounds", who will be able to identify any unidentified rocks, crystals and minerals people bring along. Other rock and mineral clubs from Whanganui, Tauranga, and New Plymouth are also expected to attend.
