Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met Sunday with a delegation from the US congress at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry. The congressional delegation was headed by congressman Michael Conaway, according to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry. President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi received a delegation from the congress earlier in August. During the president’s participation in the UN general assembly, he also met with congressmen to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries. Although the details of Shoukry’s meeting haven’t been made available yet, the delegation’s visit is expected to last for a few days.
