Customers are giving household brands on the shelves, in the hopes of finding own-brand swaps for Cadbury's, Heinz and Yorkshire Tea to name a few. The Manchester Evening News has pulled together an extensive list of shopper-approved swaps to help families save some cash. Unsurprisingly many of the swaps that shoppers recommended are from budget retailers Aldi and Lidl, but there are some other supermarket own brand products thrown in there too. Altogether, by swapping to a different brand, shoppers have saved a whopping £20.08 on these 17 items alone.
