A senior police officer from Azad Maidan said, "We keep taking action against hawkers when the civic body seeks help for bandobast. We conduct patrolling every day to ensure safety and also take action if we find anyone creating nuisance in the fashion street market." Also, lack of police presence in this bustling street can be a major threat to the lives of people visiting Fashion Street during the festive season.
