IPOH: Pharmacist Harpreet Kaur Darshan Singh thought she had lost her husband’s wallet at a sundry shop. To her relief later, the wallet, which contained about RM2,000, was kept safely on an altar at the shop in Buntong where she went to buy vinegar. Later that night, Harpreet realised that the wallet was missing. Praemavathy, 57, who has been operating the business for 34 years, said another customer saw the wallet left on top of a candy jar at the counter. Praemavathy said this was not the first time that customers had left their belongings at her shop.
