Toronto’s Sherway Gardens mall was sent into lockdown following a shooting Friday afternoon. Police said the mall was closed for the remainder of Friday for an investigation. “I saw the people like running outside a mall, while I was panicking back to the store. “They’re opening as if nothing happened,” she said “I would appreciate it if the mall actually closed down for the weekend.”Agam Dhillon, 14, agrees that the mall should remained closed. “All of a sudden, an employee started screaming about gunshots and the whole store went crazy,” he said.
