"It's not ethical that you are campaigning for the party with the taxpayers' money," senior leader Khandker Mahbub Hossain said. The BNP vice-chairman's remarks came on Saturday at a discussion. Khandker Mahbub on Saturday wondered whether there was a provision in the Constitution allowing to campaign for the party while holding a public office. The BNP leader called the Hasina to step down, if she wants to work for the party. He said that the BNP will 'definitely' take part in the next national election and demanded Constitutional amendment for an interim government during the polls.
