Shyamwar Rai, the family driver who turned approver in the Sheena Bora murder case, told the trial court on Friday Sheena’s mother Indrani Mukerjea — facing trial for her murder — gave him a parcel in 2012, which he opened to find a gun. Rai, who was the family driver, also said he thought of throwing away the parcel twice. Asked if he attempted to throw away the weapon later, Rai told the court he “thought about” it, and added he first opened the parcel after he stopped working for Indrani.
