Shah 'war crime' finger at Pakistan

Kozhikode, Sept. 25: BJP president Amit Shah today argued that terrorism was "no less than a war crime" if it became an "instrument of state policy", pointing a finger at Pakistan in a statement issued on the Uri terror attack. "If terrorism becomes the instrument of state policy, then it needs to be described as no less than a war crime." Shah held up Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's speech at the United Nations General Assembly as "testimony to the fact that Pakistan is openly advocating terrorism in the world". "By openly invoking the names of three terrorists of that organisation and describing them as peace-loving young men, (Pakistan) has shocked the entire world," Shah alleged. Shah said the BJP supported the Centre's "diplomatic offensive" against Pakistan that had "succeeded in exposing the true face of Pakistan's policy of promoting terrorism before the world and isolating Pakistan globally".
