The severe thunderstorm watch issued for Toronto has been lifted by Environment Canada. The weather agency, which issued the watch early Thursday evening, pulled it around 8:20 p.m. Earlier in the evening, thunderstorms were developing across parts of southern Ontario, the agency reported.
