Several people were wounded when shots were fired at a commuter rail station near the southern German city of Munich today and one person was detained, police said. A female police officer was badly wounded" at an S-Bahn station in Unterfoehring, a northeastern suburb of the Bavarian city, police tweeted, and that the scene was now "secured". Two other people at the station were seriously injured but their lives were not believed to be in danger. "The area around the suburban train station Unterfoering has been cordoned off." And in March, an axe-wielding attacker wounded nine people in a bloody rampage at a railway station in the western city of Duesseldorf.
