KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested seven Pakistani men believed to have been involved in an attack on a policeman at a carpet shop in Nilai 3, Negri Sembilan on Sunday. Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim said police were still investigating the cause of the 4pm incident. He said all the suspects were arrested under Section 148 of the Penal Code for rioting with weapons. "An initial probe found that there was a possibility of a misunderstanding and we will conduct a thorough investigation and action will be taken," he said. According to Noor Rashid, all suspects have been remanded to assist in investigations.
