A Chandpur court has sentenced three people, including notorious serial killer Rashu Kha, to death in a case filed over the murder of a woman after rape in 2009. Chandpur Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal and District and Sessions Judge, Abul Mannan handed down the verdict on Tuesday after examining all records and witnesses, said Mir Kashem, sub-inspector of Chandpur Sadar police station. The convicts are Rashu Kha, 45, a notorious serial killer of the area, his nephew Jahirul Islam, 35, and Yunus Miah, 42. Earlier in on April 22, 2015, the self-confessed killer was sentenced to death for killing garment worker Shahida Begum in Chandpur.
