KOTA KINABALU: Most Sabahans, including the folks in Sepanggar, located some 28km from the state capital, are an example of unity and tolerance in this country. Sepanggar MP Datuk Azis Jamman said people of various ethnicity and religion in the area have been living in peace and harmony together for years, and such values need to be preserved. He said unity has been the backbone that keeps Sabahans safe and relations between races harmonious all these years. He said the contributions made to the churches were one of the many ways to show how much he appreciates this peace and harmony. Meanwhile, Azis said he would be checking on the infrastructure in Sepanggar, to make sure that whatever needs fixing will be looked into.
