Lord Drayson was paid a post-flotation bonus of £850,000 BEN GURR FOR THE TIMESA healthcare technology company founded by Lord Drayson failed to disclose £1 million of bonuses paid to the former science minister and its finance boss. Sensyne Health revealed yesterday that Lord Drayson and Lorrie Headley, chief financial officer, had been paid post-flotation bonuses of £850,000 and £200,000, respectively, in December. The bonuses were paid despite Peel Hunt, Sensyne’s nominated adviser, having given a “preliminary view” that investors were unlikely to react favourably to the payments. Peel Hunt discovered that the bonuses had been paid only as part of preparations for Sensyne’s annual report, which is due on Monday when Sensyne also issues its full-year results.
