Trump said he’ll meet China’s Xi Jinping and Russia’s Vladimir Putin at the G-20 summit in Japan slated for June. At closing, Sensex was up 0.6% to 37,318.53 points, while the NSE Nifty 50 index rose 0.66% to 11222.05 points. In the last nine sessions, Sensex fell nearly 5% or 1,900 points, while the Nifty shed around 5% or 600 points. On the earnings front, 17 of the 27 Nifty companies that have reported Jan-Mar results so far have either met or exceeded estimates.
