Nominated senator Naisula Lesuuda has said she is ready to face it out with men both in the nominations and the 2017 general elections. Naisula intends to vie on a Jubilee Party ticket for the Samburu West parliamentary seat against current MP Lati Lelelit. "Both men and women will vote for me despite me being a woman," she said on Sunday in Maralal town. Naisula was accompanied by nominated MP Isaac Mwaura and Samburu woman rep Maison Leshoomo. Mwaura said he intends to be elected to represent Ruiru constituency on a Jubilee party ticket.
