Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has surrendered to police over the Matungu by-election violence last Thursday. Malala is among other elected leaders who were summoned by the DCI for grilling over the violence. The DPP had on Saturday directed the DCI to arrest and interrogate him in connection with the violence.
