The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Anti-Corruption and Financial Crimes, Senator Suleiman Abdu Kwari, has commended the board and management of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) for the implementation of the 2020 budget. He further commended ICPC for the commitment to ensuring that corruption was minimised to the barest minimum in society. The Director of Finance and Accounts department, Mrs. Victoria Ayeni, later presented a detailed breakdown of the 2020 Budget performance to the committee. The highlight of the visit was a facilities tour of the Forensics Laboratory and ongoing projects within the commission’s premises. This report x-rays the lives and experiences of residents in getting clean, potable and affordable water amidst the surge of COVID-19 cases in the state.
