PETALING JAYA: Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah is angered and disappointed with DAP's Datuk Zaid Ibrahim's jab at the Ruler on Twitter. In an interview with Utusan Malaysia, Sultan Sharafuddin said he was saddened by Zaid's comment. Sultan Sharafuddin reminded Zaid not to lecture him, saying that his statements were not politically motivated, but were made cautiously in his capacity as the Ruler. He is a politician and a former minister whom I understand is against the royal institution," Sultan Sharafuddin said. The Sultan said he did not wish to see politicians playing with matters of race, religion and other sensitive issues for political gain.
