Dublin City Council is reviewing security measures for members of the public attending meetings at City Hall after a number of protesters stormed the chamber a fortnight ago. The review is taking place after a number of demonstrators entered the chamber and disrupted proceedings after a vote was passed regarding the controversial O'Devaney Gardens housing development. The decision has been commended by one council member who was concerned over the safety of babies in the chamber. The Green Party's Claire Byrne raised safety issues in correspondences to council members.
