IPOH: Security firms must be proactive and work closely with the authorities in monitoring their employees from being recruited by terror groups. "Terror groups will always find ways to penetrate the security by placing their men in security firms or recruiting those who are already working as guards. So any change in behaviour including signs of support for terror groups must never be overlooked," he said when contacted. He said some of those influenced by terror groups may have gone under the radar and had a clean record. "Security firms must abide by the regulations which require them to only hire workers after clearance from the police," he said.
