Local and foreign engineers placed the J-04 railway span between the pillars N-21 and N-22 at the Jazira end in Shariatpur. A total of 14 railway spans, seven each in Mawa End and Jazira End, will be installed on the bridge. A total of 84 girders will be set up on the rail viaduct on both sides of the Padma Bridge, said several associate engineers of the project. Railway spans are also being installed on the viaduct of the Padma Bridge, the first in Bangladesh.
