Search continues for elderly man with dementia missing three daysNZ POLICE Alan Pritchard has now been missing for three days. Concern is growing for the safety of 78-year-old Taupo man Alan Pritchard, who has been missing for three days. They said their search has involved LandSAR volunteers from Taupo and Turangi, the Taupo Civil Defence Response Team, Taupo Rural Fire and Police SAR dogs from Taupo and Rotorua. Exhaustive efforts from search and rescue teams have been unable to find him. Pritchard has dementia and was last seen taking the bins out at his home in Bonshore Park, on the outskirts of Taupo, on Thursday morning.
