Pig hunter found after going missing in the WairarapaThe hunter became separated from his mate after he started chasing a pig. Earlier he and another hunter became separated when he started chasing a pig. A man chasing a pig prompted a search and rescue operation in the Wairarapa on Saturday night before he was eventually found wandering out of a gorge. Police said they received the call about 7pm, and a team of search and rescue volunteers was being assembled. Police said while the team was preparing to mount a search, the hunter walked out of Waiohine Gorge.
