Screen time for children need not be curtailed: Study

Staring at a screen has not been exactly advisable for children. But a new study has inferred that there is little evidence to back this up. The study, as quoted by BBC, states that while setting time limits for screen time is not recommended, devices must not be used at least an hour before bedtime. However, it is not exactly clear whether people who are depressed spend more time before the screen or vice-versa. The college said that it did not set time limits for children because there was not enough evidence that screen time was harmful to children’s health at any age.
