The Scottish Parliament has been accused of "hiding" behind its sleaze probe into Michael Matheson after refusing to answer simple questions about his behaviour. But officials refused to answer a number of queries asked by the Scottish Daily Express through freedom of information legislation. But this was blasted by the Scottish Tories who suggested that this information could be published without affecting the probe. Scottish Conservative Chairman Craig Hoy told the Scottish Daily Express: "The situation surrounding the scandal-ridden Michael Matheson has also raised serious questions about the processes in the Scottish Parliament.
