South Reading made it six wins in a row in all competitions after a 5-4 victory at Reading Tigers in the East Berkshire League Division One on Saturday, writes Rob Stevens. The Reading-based team have been in incredible form in recent weeks which includes progress in both the Berks & Bucks F.A. South Reading have also played four games fewer than the table toppers. South Reading beat Reading Tigers in a nine-goals thriller at Calcot Recreation Ground with Barry Elmore, Liam Shurvill, Rayden Shurvill and Thomas Shares all amongst the scorers for the victors. AFC Reading missed the chance to close the gap on the promotion spots after being held to a goalless draw at third-bottom Stoke Poges Reserves - the last team to beat South Reading back in early October.
